These heaters are designed to slide over the handlebars. Simply remove old grips and slide Polly Heaters on. All outside grip style heaters have a dual heat setting. They are not suitable for motorcycles. The heaters have an inner diameter of 7/8 in. These heaters are mounted with 2 screws. They operate with 12 VAC or 12 VDC drawing approximately 3 amps for both heaters (1.5 amps per heater) on both heat settings. They can be installed on any machine that has a handlebar with an inner diameter measuring more than 5/8".
