This kit contains heaters which have a dual heat setting; however, they are different from the snowmobile kit because they are manufactured to run slightly cooler. In addition this kit contains a metal bound switch, and various additional items to facilitate installation. The heaters are 5/8" in diameter and 2.030" long. There is a retaining clip welded on to the cartridge which can be adjusted for a snug fit. They operate with 12 VAC or 12 VDC drawing approximately 3 amps for both heaters (1.5 amps per heater) on both heat settings. They can be installed on any motorcycle that has a handlebar with an inner diameter measuring more than 5/8", and a regulated electrical system.
